If There Were Resolutions...

I hate "making resolutions". I seem to break the resolutions I make, so it would seem as if a resolution would be my own undoing. Because, as people, we are in a constant state of evolution, it's hard to predict where the year will take us. However, there are somethings I would love to see happen. So here are a few of my "I -don't-want-to-call-them-resolutions."

Post List) I want the following list to not sound cliche. However, I think it has drifted in to such, but I am being honest.

1.) Obviously to continue to grow as person while making improvements both mentally, physically, and spiritually. (This is a nicer way of saying lose weight and be good, dumbass LOL)

2.) I want to try new things.

3.) I want to remain true to myself. I want to be bolder, stronger, and more independent. I want to be able to stand up for myself.

4.) I do not want to get too wrapped up in trivial things and pay attention to what matters. To explain myself more --- Yes, I want to indulge in the things that make me happy. However, right now, I feel some of my happiness has become deluded and is taking the shift away from the things that matter --- like family and friends.

5.) I want to stop taking myself and the trivial games so seriously.

6.) I want the rainbow bus wheels to keep turning. We have been through so much already, and I know we have a lot of steam left in us. There is a reason we all met, and I know I am one of the luckiest people alive to have you all in my life. I don't want to squander this for trivial things. I want to celebrate it. You all have done more for me than you will ever know, and I love you.

7.) I want LOVE.

CLICHE ALERT ---> I want to be happy. I feel like I have really grown a lot these last few years. I have been blessed. I want that continued blessing in year "lucky '07". I have a feeling there are going to be some tough parts --- heck, I am turning 21 --- but I know I can make it. I just hope ... for the best.

The Platoon filmmaker insists the cinematic version of Alexander was hampered by time constraints after being slashed to 168 minutes in length. Stone originally wanted to release the movie in its original three-hour form but concerned studio bosses forced him to axe scenes containing homosexual content. The new DVD-only release will be a staggering three hours and 40 minutes in length, and will feature footage edited out of the original cut. Stone says, "This thing has haunted me.
